One of the most common mistakes new players at koso4d make is playing purely on instinct with no strategy at all. Blackjack isn't just a game of luck — knowledge and discipline play a huge role. Players who take the time to learn basic strategy will, in the long run, enjoy a far better experience than those who simply guess.
One of the most important tips is to never take Insurance. While the insurance offer may seem appealing when the dealer shows an Ace, statistically it is a losing bet for the player over the long run. The only exception is if you are counting cards and know that a high proportion of 10-value cards remain in the deck.
The second tip — always Split Aces and 8s. These are two pairs that are almost always more profitable when split than played together. A pair of Aces gives you two chances to hit Blackjack or a 21 hand, while a pair of 8s (totalling 16) is the hardest hand in blackjack — splitting them gives you two much stronger starting points.
No matter how solid your strategy is, poor bankroll management can ruin a session. Set a daily limit before you start — say RM 200 for a single session. If you hit that limit, stop. On the flip side, if you manage to double your balance, consider calling it a day or at least scaling back your bet sizes.
